REVVED is a free daily game: identify a car from its exhaust note. Playing it means accepting these terms. You can play without an account; creating a profile means the same terms plus the bit below about accounts.

REVVED is provided as it is, without warranty. It is one daily game, not a service anything should depend on. Scores, streaks and leaderboards are recorded as carefully as we can manage, and they are still a game’s bookkeeping rather than a record of consequence.

There is no guarantee that REVVED is available, or that a new challenge appears every day. It can be down, a day can be missed, and a round can be interrupted. If a challenge turns out to be broken or unfair we may withdraw it, which can mean a result no longer counts.

Scoring, clues, the car catalogue and the way results are presented all change as the game is worked on. Historical results are kept as they were recorded — a finished round keeps the score it earned, even if the rules that produced it have since moved.

Please do not:

Interfere with the game or its infrastructure. Automate play, scrape the site, or send traffic at a rate a person could not produce. Attempt to reach a challenge before the day it is scheduled for. Try to submit more guesses or more daily attempts than a round allows. Impersonate anyone, or choose a display name that is abusive, or use the leaderboard to harass another player.

The daily limits are enforced by the game itself, not by this paragraph. This is here so it is said plainly.

An account can be restricted, and a score can be removed from a leaderboard, where there is good reason — abuse, a display name that has no business on a public board, or a result that could not have been produced by playing. Where a result is removed, the round itself is kept rather than rewritten.

The clips are excerpts of recordings made by other people. REVVED credits the source on the result screen and links to the original wherever it can, and the copyright in that material stays with whoever made it. Nothing here transfers any rights in it.

If you own a recording used in a challenge and would rather it were not, email playrevved@gmail.com and it will be removed.
