How Cranked works

1. 01

   One measure

   Every day gives you 5 cars and one thing to rank them by — horsepower, weight, price, top speed, 0–60 or model year. The prompt says which, and which end of the scale comes first.

2. 02

   Put them in order

   Move each car up or down until the list runs from one end of the scale to the other. There is no time limit and no penalty for rearranging.

3. 03

   Lock it in

   One submission a day. Nothing is scored until you lock in, and once you have, the day is done — the result is what you see when you come back.

4. 04

   See the real order

   The reveal shows the correct order with the real figure for every car, and which positions you got right.

One point per car in exactly the right place, out of 5. Nothing else counts — being one slot off scores the same as being four, which is what makes 5/5 worth having. Two cars are never tied on the measure, so there is always exactly one correct order.
